ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION TESTING IN EXHALED AIR
SAFETY FIRST provides support to businesses and institutions that need to monitor employees or third parties' compliance with regulatory requirements regarding alcohol consumption during working hours or before performing job duties. We offer consultation, prepare internal policy documents, and arrange cooperation with competent authorities.
TESTING IS CONDUCTED IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS:

After the person's verbal consent, in compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.

If there are suspicions of alcohol consumption during working hours or before work.

According to Cabinet Regulation No. 334, alcohol testing in exhaled air is performed by designated officials, such as the police, border guard, probation service, etc.

If necessary, the individual may be taken to a healthcare facility for medical examination.
HOW THE TEST IS CONDUCTED:

Two measurements are taken with a 15–20-minute interval.

The result is equivalent to the alcohol concentration in the blood.

If alcohol is detected, an official test protocol is prepared.

The protocol includes printouts from the measuring device.

The person acknowledges the results with their signature.
COSTS AND CONDITIONS:

If the alcohol concentration exceeds 0.5 ‰, the cost of the test – 15.65 EUR – is covered by the tested individual.

The cost coverage does not apply to tests conducted by the probation service or the Civil Aviation Authority.
